Together we can
Welcome to the website of the Fairchildes Academy Community Trust.
A Trust formed in April 2014 by Fairchildes Primary School, with our neighbours, Rowdown Primary, joining us in June of the same year.
Our motivation for forming the Trust in 2014 was to make a positive difference for the children in our local community.
It is our wish that the educational experience of children attending the schools within the Trust are broadly similar. To this end, whilst retaining our own identity, we work in close partnership to secure the provision of outstanding levels of education for our pupils.
As a Trust, we place learning at the heart of all we do. We aim to provide welcoming and stimulating learning environments that will enable our pupils to thrive. To support this aim, staff in both schools collaborate closely in order to share and develop best practice across the Trust.
Working in partnership has many benefits, all of which contribute to improving the quality of the education we can offer our pupils. Our prime aim is to ensure the children in our school communities fulfil their maximum potential whilst in our care.
Another key partnership is that between home and school. Parents/carers are welcomed into our schools and their contribution in supporting our aims is vital. At the same time, we recognise our duty to support our families in any way we can.
I am proud to be the Executive Head of the Trust, and to work with the staff and children at both schools.
You will find a link from our home page to both the Fairchildes and Rowdown school websites in order to find more information about our members. However, the best way to get to know us is to come and visit us. Should you wish to do so please do not hesitate to contact either school.
