Useful maths Websites
1 Minute Maths (App)
A new app called '1-Minute Maths' has been released by White Rose Maths - a resource we use to support our maths teaching at school. It helps children build greater number confidence and fluency. The first version of the app focuses on addition, subtraction and subitising (the ability to look at a group of objects and realise how many there are without counting). The app is free and we encourage all families to download it onto their device(s) and support their child's mathematical development.
EdShed
Children in Years 2 and up have a log in for EdShed. EdShed provides games and activities to support the children in their maths work. Their log in is the same as their Times Tables Rock Stars log ins.
Top Marks
Top Marks is a great website for children to practise their mathematical skills on. You can filter by age range and subject. We particularly enjoy Hit the Button!
J2 Blast
J2 Blast provides games and competitions for children to practise their times tables. The KS2 SATs Blast can be used for children in Year 6 to support their work in preparation for SATs.
Tutor Bot
Tutor Bot can be used to help improve your child’s fluency and confidence.
