SEN Teaching Assistants for EYFS and Key Stage 1

Fixed Term – Until 31^st August 2024

Rowdown Primary School is a thriving 2 form school in the London Borough of Croydon. We believe that everything starts with our children and our community and looking to recruit fantastic staff who believe the same.

We are seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team to work 1:1 with children. The roles are part-time and linked to specific funding. One TA is required for 15 hours and the other TA is required for 27.25 hours per week term time only.

Ideally we are looking for someone with experience of autism or an interest in learning and developing skills and knowledge in this area of SEND.

You should be:

• A responsible & reliable person
• Confident in dealing with young people
• Able to relate well to pupils and adults

Teaching Assistants

Start date: As soon as possible.

Contract type: Part-time 15 hours per week or Part-time 27.5 hours a week (term time only)

Salary: NJC Grade 3 Scale point 5:  £24,804 pro rata (term time only)

Contract term: Fixed Term – Until 31/08/2024
