English

English is a vital life skill that encompasses all aspects of communication; speaking and listening, reading and writing. In order for children to develop into confident adults, it is essential that they develop these skills effectively and with confidence. I believe a lasting love for the written and spoken word can open up a whole world of adventure and possibilities that allow children to explore both worlds in reality and let them loose in a world of imagination. It is therefore important that children have access to quality texts and resources and are immersed in an engaging curriculum that opens up ideas and stimulates their thinking.
