A very warm welcome to Our Trust

A Trust formed in April 2014 by Fairchildes Primary School, with our neighbours, Rowdown Primary, joining us in June of the same year. In September 2018, Monks Orchard Primary School in Shirley became the third school in the Trust.
Our motivation for forming the Trust in 2014 was to make a positive difference for the children in our local community.
It is our wish that the educational experience of children attending the schools within the Trust are broadly similar. To this end, whilst retaining our own identity, we work in close partnership to secure the provision of outstanding levels of education for our pupils.

It has been so busy at Monks Orchard recently with trips, visits and the heat so we thought long and hard about the best video to share with you to make up for our absence. We had Outdoor Learning Day in May (luckily not in this heat!) and it was great to use all of the outside space we have at Monks. Photos from Fairchildes Primary School's post What a show! Last night, Year 6 wowed us with their fantastic performance of Wise Guys. It was an evening filled with superb singing, outstanding acting, and wonderful dancing. A huge well done to all of our Year 6 pupils for putting on such an incredible performance, and a big thank you to the Year 6 staff for all of their hard work and dedication in organising such a memorable production. We are so proud of you all!

Photos from Fairchildes Primary School's post We were delighted to welcome Pastor Tom from Life City Church, New Addington, who spent time with our Year 6 pupils. He shared information about the church's Friday Night Youth Group and invited the children to come along when they're old enough. The session also included some fantastic group games, and everyone had lots of fun getting involved!
The Youth Group is open to young people aged 11 and over.
