Classroom Assistant - Rowdown

Overview

FACT Trust is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and skilled classroom assistant to support pupils in Key stage 2 at Rowdown.

We are looking to appoint a creative and dedicated individual to join our team, experience of working in schools is essential.

Our classroom Assistant will be:
● Responsible and dependable
● An effective team player
● Able to build positive relationships with both pupils and adults
● Confident in using their initiative

Rowdown Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS and Prohibition Order check will be required before starting.

Visits to Rowdown are welcome.

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Contract Type: 20 hours per week

Salary: NJC Grade 3 Scp 7

Contract Term: Fixed term to end of August 2027
