Fairchildes Primary School is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for food, and love being part of a school community, we’d love to hear from you!

Key responsibilities: 

✅ Assisting in the preparation of nutritious and tasty meals for our pupils
✅ Supporting the kitchen team with cooking, serving, and cleaning duties
✅ Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and tidy
✅ Following food hygiene and health & safety regulations

🔹 Good time management and organisation skills
🔹 Basic food hygiene knowledge (training can be provided)

Contract type: Permanent 12.5 hours per week. (Term time only)

Salary: NJC Grade 1 Scale Point 3
