360 Centre
Welcome to the 360 Centre at Fairchildes Primary School, our purpose-built Enhanced Learning Provision for children with a primary need of Moderate Learning Difficulties. Fairchildes is an outstanding, inclusive, fully accessible school which offers a wealth of provision for children
Our provision opened in September 2013 for children from across the Borough of Croydon. Admission to the 360 Centre is via Croydon SEN Department. The 360 Centre has 14 full time places. All pupils at the centre have an Education Health Care Plan.
The 360 Centre offers specialised teaching and support and a personalised curriculum within a small group setting with a high adult to child ratio. Whilst the focus will be on literacy and numeracy, we want our pupils to experience and enjoy the vast and varied curriculum that Fairchildes has to offer, from steel band and keyboard lessons, to gymnastics and art. Pupils will access the wider curriculum either within mainstream classes or within the Centre itself.
Fairchildes is an outstanding, inclusive, fully accessible school, offering a wealth of provision for children with additional needs, including:
-
1:1 speech and language support.
-
Additional Gross and Fine motor skills sessions.
-
SPIL Counselling
-
Learning Mentor support
-
Dedicated Reading Teaching Assistants
In addition, all children in the 360 Centre receive support from a qualified speech and language therapist weekly and an occupational therapist fortnightly.
