Early Years Practitioner

Fairchildes Primary School is proud to be an Outstanding school at the heart of the community of New Addington on the outskirts of Croydon. We are excited to be expanding our Little Squirrels provision for 2-year-olds – and we are looking for an experienced, passionate, and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join us. A level 2 childcare qualification is essential.

About the Role:

As a key member of our Early Years team, you will support the learning, development, and care of our youngest children. You’ll play a central role in creating a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment where every child can thrive.

Early Years Practitioner

Start date: 5th January 2026 (or as close to that date as possible)

Contract type: 28 hours per week – we are aiming to include school holidays within our provision, so please be aware that some school holiday hours are likely.

Salary: NJC Grade 3 scp 5

Contract term: Permanent
