Miss Virtue & Mrs Green will accompany the pupils.

Your child is invited to represent Rowdown Primary School at the Year 5 and 6 ‘Sportshall Athletics Qualifiers’ organised in association with the Croydon Schools Sports Partnership. 

Our team of sixteen children will compete in a range of athletic events, including relay events, sprints, long distance runs, standing long jump and throwing events. Children will have the opportunity to compete against other schools and children of their age group.

This event will take place on Tuesday 6^th December, from 3:30-6:00pm at Royal Russell School. We will travel to the venue by minibus at the end of the school day. Children are expected to return to school at 6:45pm. Please note, all children must be collected from the main office upon return.

Children will be given a school PE kit to wear for this event but must bring their own tracksuit, socks and trainers. Please note that plimsolls will not be suitable for this event. Please also ensure your child has water and a sensible snack that can be consumed at the venue.

The permission slip should be returned to the office by Monday 19th November. If your child will not be attending, please let Miss Virtue or their class teacher know as soon as possible so their place can be offered to someone else.
