URGENT - Letter to Parents 31.12.20
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope that you have had an enjoyable break.
Following the government announcement yesterday, I am writing to confirm that Rowdown Primary School will be closed from Tuesday 5th January 2021. During this time, we will operate an on-site skeleton staff and we will only remain open to the children of Critical Workers and Vulnerable Children. For all other children, the School will provide remote learning.
Parents of Vulnerable Children will be contacted on Monday by a member of school staff to see if they would like a place at school.
Parents whose work is critical to the coronavirus (COVID-19) response will be offered a place at school. Here is the list of Critical Workers. Critical workers and vulnerable children who can access schools or educational settings - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
In order to confirm if your child will attend Rowdown Primary from Tuesday 5th January, (Monday is an INSET day) please email firstname.lastname@example.org or reply to this message to book a place for your child by 9am on Monday.
All other children should remain at home. The Government is set to review the guidance on 18th January 2021 and I will contact you as soon as I have any more information. Children who remain at home are required to access remote learning and will be emailed details of this on Monday.
If your child is eligible for benefit-related free school meals, we will be in touch on Monday with details.
In the meantime, stay at home, stay safe and keep well,
